We also accept most credit cards, debit and HSA/FSA cards. Regardless of your form of payment, a credit card number is kept securely on file for your convenience.

*Some health insurance plans have pre-certification and/or prior authorization requirements for psychiatric services. For some plans, referrals from a primary care provider are required. In other situations, insurance plans have separate “carve out” insurances to cover mental health services. Information about plan requirements is often listed on the back of your insurance card. Refer to your card, your benefits handbook, or contact your health insurance directly to guarantee that your plan will cover services. It is the patient’s responsibility to determine that services will be covered by insurance, and we strongly advise you to reach out and confirm coverage with your insurer before your first appointment. If the services you are provided are not covered by insurance, you will be required to pay out of pocket in full and, if desired, provided with a superbill to receive out-of-network financial reimbursement from your insurance.

Cancellation Policy:

Given that ATC Psychiatry does not double book, and in order to keep our rates competitive, appointment times are strictly as scheduled. 48 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid a late cancellation fee. Weekend days do not count toward these 48 hours. Late cancellation/no show fee is $100 charged to the credit card on file, not reimbursable by insurance. If 3 or more late cancellations or missed appointments accrue in one year, the client may be discharged.

Taxes:

Medical expenses in WA, including out of pocket expenses for medicine management, can be deducted from your income taxes. Speak with a tax professional for specifics on this process.
