Education and Training
Brittney completed her graduate education at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and the University of Cincinnati. She holds dual board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and is licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Washington State.
Clinical Experience
Brittney's clinical background spans addiction medicine, internal medicine, and aesthetics — a combination that gives her an unusually broad view of how physical health, mental health, and overall well-being intersect.
Her work in addiction medicine is what drew her to psychiatry. Seeing how often people struggled to find accessible, compassionate mental health care, she became focused on helping patients address the underlying factors driving their emotional and overall wellness rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
Approach to Care
Brittney takes a holistic, solution-focused approach, meeting each patient where they are and working collaboratively to identify meaningful, achievable goals. She believes treatment should be individualized, and considers both medication and non-medication approaches based on each patient's needs, preferences, and circumstances.
She works to create a warm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care. Effective treatment, in her view, begins with listening, collaboration, and respect for each patient's individual experience.
